Eyal
Matalon comes
to Building Blocks for Kids with a breadth of experience in
community-based
research, program evaluation, and youth development. Eyal supports the
collaborative’s efforts to integrate data collection and evaluation
into all of
BBK’s activities. He works alongside staff to create survey
questionnaires,
facilitate focus groups, and develop new systems for collecting,
organizing, and
analyzing information. Prior to his work with BBK, Eyal
was a research
associate with the Pacific Institute, partnering with community groups
in
Richmond, the broader Bay Area, and beyond to leverage local knowledge
and
rigorous research with strategies for social change. Eyal holds a Bachelor of
Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
