Luis Perez is Director of Digital Literacy Programs for the Building  Blocks for Kids Collaborative (BBK). In his current role, Luis is responsible for implementing the  BBK Collaborative’s Emerging Technology Plan for Family Inclusion(ETPFI). Prior to joining the Richmond Community Foundation, Mr. Perez managed a program that served homeless children and youth enrolled in the West Contra Costa Unified School District. Luis received recognition for his work with homeless students from the California Department of Education, the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth, and Congressmen George Miller. Luis graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from San Francisco State University and resides in Richmond with his family and two dogs.
