 Pamela Chavez is a new and recent resident to the city of Richmond. As  the  Coordinator for the Community Engagement and Advocacy Team, she  works  alongside community leaders and residents dedicated to  addressing local  issues within the Iron Triangle. Through a series of  trainings, workshops  and events her work is focused on gaining active  participation from  residents to engage and advocate for community  needs.  Her background  comes from work in Youth Development and the  Arts, and  earned a degree  from University of California, Santa Cruz with a  BA in  American Studies.
