Sheryl a Richmond native works with a team to realize BBK’s mission to invest in individual transformation to promote thriving families and community change.
Sheryl is a leader who brings demonstrated experience in both social sector management and social and community change. She was formerly the Director of Policy and Partnerships at SaverLife (formerly EARN) a national nonprofit focused on financial security for low-income households. She previously directed the Richmond Equitable Development Initiative at Urban Habitat and served as a Community Relations and Policy Analyst for the Mayor of San Jose.
Sheryl holds a Master’s of Science in Urban Policy and Management from the Milano Graduate School of Management at the New School in New York City. She holds two BA degrees — one in Sociology and another in Psychology & Social Behavior, both from UC Irvine.
